Unique Birds
Birds are flying creatures.
They have wings and feathers to help them fly.
Birds do not have teeth. Instead they have strong and sharp beaks.
Different birds have different types of beaks depending on the type of food they eat.
Birds have strong and hollow bones. These help them to fly easily.
Birds Nest
Birds build nest to lay eggs.
Different type of birds build different types of nest.
Weaver bird build beautiful hanging nest.
Woodpecker make its nest by making a hole in a trunk of a tree by its strong and sharp beak.
A crow never makes its nest .It lays it's eggs in another bird nest called Cuckoo.
Hummingbird make its nest like a deep bowl.
Kiwi and Ostrich are flightless birds. They cannot fly.
Ostrich is the fastest running bird.
Ostrich egg is the biggest.
Hummingbird is the smallest bird. It fits in your palm.
Penguin also cannot fly. It is found in polar/ice laden areas.
