Games and Sports

We play games because game helps us keep healthy and fit.

Indoor Games 
Games which are played under the roof are called Indoor Games.
Example - Chess , Ludo , Carrom board , Table tennis , hide and seek.

Outdoor Games
Games which are played in open space are called Outdoor Games.

Example - Cricket , Football , Hockey, Badminton , Lawn tennis  , Kabaddi , Kho-Kho.
Traditional Games

Games played in the past are called Traditional Games.

Example - Satoliya, hide & seek , kabaddi, Kho-Kho.
No. of players in a team

 Cricket - 11 players

Hockey  - 11 players

Football - 11 players

Kho-Kho - 9 players

Kabaddi - 7 players

Lawn Tennis - 1 or 2

Table Tennis - 1 or 2

Badminton - 1 or 2

Chess - 1

Ludo - 1
