Mountain Climbing

Mountain Climbers are also called Trackers / Climbers / Mountaineers .

Tracking is other name for mountain climbing.

Mount Everest (8848.16 meter) is the highest peak of the World.

BachandriPal became the first Indian woman to climb Mount Everest in 1984.

Prem Lata Agrawal

Prem Lata Agrawal was born in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). 

She has the honour of reaching the Mount Everest peak at the age of 48 years and again at the age of 50 years.

She got a new achievement by getting victory over the Mount McKinley situated in Alaska (North America).

She is the first Indian woman mountaineer to complete the seven Summits and oldest Indian woman mountaineer to Summit Mount Everest at the age of 48.

She currently works with Tata Steel as an officer in their Adventures section.
Bachendri Pal

Bachendri Pal (born 24 May 1954) is an Indian mountaineer, who in 1984 became the first Indian woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest. 

She was awarded the third highest civilian award Padma Bhushan by Government of India in 2019.
She was born on 24 May 1954 at Nakuri, Uttarkashi district (Uttarakhand, India).

She was one of  five children to Hansa Devi, and Shri Kishan Singh Pal.

She became the first female to climb Mt. Gangotri 23,419 ft (7,138.1 m) and Mt. Rudragaria 19,091 ft (5,818.9 m) in 1982.

On 23 May 1984, the team reached the summit of Mount Everest at 1:07 p.m. and Bachendri Pal created history.
Santosh Yadav

Santosh Yadav is an Indian mountaineer. 
She is the first woman in the world to climb Mount Everest twice and the first woman to successfully climb Mount Everest from Kangshung Face. 

In 1992, Yadav scaled Mount Everest, becoming the youngest woman in the world to achieve this feat. This record was later broken.

She climbed the peak first in May 1992 and then again in May 1993 with an Indo-Nepalese Team.

She was born on 10 October 1967 at Joniyawas,Rewari (Haryana,India).
